La marca Kiehl’s abrió un nuevo local en Buenos Aires (Alto Palermo Shopping) y me invitó a un OPEN DAY para que fuera a conocerlo. Aquí les cuento en un video mi experiencia con la marca y les muestro lo lindo que quedó el espacio. 

The Kiehl’s brand opened a new store in Buenos Aires (Alto Palermo Shopping) and invited me to an OPEN DAY to come and check it out. Here I tell you in a video my experience with the brand and  how nice the space is.

BOBBI BROWN CREAMY MATTE LIP COLOR (PALE PEACH)

Me considero una persona bastante holgazana cuando se trata retocar el maquillaje y aún más cuando se trata del lápiz labial. Desde que supe de su existencia recorrí diferentes marcas de cosméticos para encontrar labiales larga duración con colores atractivos y que se sientan cómodos en mis labios. En una de esas recorridas por la hermosa ciudad de Buenos Aires, terminé en el store de Bobbi Brown de Galerías Pacífico y me encontré con este lápiz labial de terminación matte que no es larga duración pero bien podría serlo. Se aplica fácilmente, hidrata los labios y deja un color durazno bien natural apto para usar diariamente. El único defecto posible encontrado: su precio, muy elevado para mi gusto pero no pude resistirme.
I am a pretty lazy person when it comes to makeup touch-ups and even more when it comes to lipstick. Since I learned of its existence toured different cosmetic brands to find long-lasting lip colors with attractive and comfortable feel on my lips. In one of those traveled by the beautiful city of Buenos Aires, finished in the Bobbi Brown store at Galerias Pacifico and came across this lipstick with matte finish that is not long-lasting but it could be. Easy to apply, moisturizes lips and leaves a very natural peach color suitable for daily use. The only possible defect found: price, too high for my taste but I could not resist.

LOOK OF THE DAY 44: "PUNKETO"

Aunque tal vez no lo parezca, de toda la vida fui fanática de la música punk y de su cultura, mayormente poniendo su concepto centrado en la imágen, vida e historia de Sid Vicious. Es una forma cruda de expresión y rebelión que refleja lo más profundo de los seres humanos de la forma más inhumana posible y eso me encanta. Es por esto que cuando vi estas dos prendas (pantalón y remera) en Complot, no dudé invertir mi dinero en ellas porque a mi parecer son la forma moderna y «apropiada» de llevar el mundo punk a la vida cotidiana sin asustar a nadie.

While it may not look it, I am a lifetime fan of punk music and culture, mostly putting it’s concept centered on the image, life and history of Sid Vicious. It is a crude form of expression and rebellion that reflects the depths of human beings in the most unhuman possible way and I love it. That’s why when I saw these two pieces (pants and shirt) in Complot, I did not hesitate to invest my money in them because in my opinion they are the modern and «appropriate» way to carry the punk everyday without scaring anyone.

RIRI HEARTS MAC: HAUL, SWATCHES AND FIRST IMPRESSION

Finalmente tuvimos el placer de tener en el mercado argentino la colección especial de Rihanna para M.A.C. de la cual muchas estamos completamente obsesionadas. Apenas me enteré fui corriendo al local de Galerías Pacífico (Capital Federal) para ver personalmente estas obras de arte y como era de esperarse traje cositas a mi hogar.
Pero primero veamos lo que compone esta colección:

• 2 set de pestañas postizas, 
• 4 tonos de labiales de diversa terminación, 
• 1 duo tonalizador/rubor, 
• 2 lápiz para cejas, 
• 1 delineador líquido,
• 1 máscara de pestañas,
• 2 delineadores de labios,
• 2 rubores,
• 1 iluminador en crema,
• 1 brocha de fibra óptica
• 1 pincel tipo lengua de gato de fibra óptica
• 1 labial líquido rojo,
• 2 cuartetos de sombras

Finally we had the pleasure of having in the Argentine market Rihanna’s special collection for MAC of which many are completely obsessed. I ran to the Galerias Pacifico (Buenos Aires) store to see these works of art personally and as expected brought some home.
But first let’s check out the collection:

Este rubor se fusiona perfecto con mi colección ya que no tenía ningún color similar, siempre fui una chica de rubores rosados así que esta vez me animé al cambio y a probar algo nuevo. Es de fácil aplicación tanto con brocha de rubor como de fibra óptica y deja un tono satinado y saludable a la piel. Su valor es de $270AR, caro pero espero sea rendidor.
This blush fits perfect in my collection as I did not have any similar color, I was always a girl of pink blushes so it’s time to change and try something new and different. It is easy to apply both with a blush brush or an optical fiber one and leaves a glossy and healthy tone to the skin. Its value is $270AR, expensive but hopefully it yielder.

No tengo más que elogios para este producto, por empezar su envase es la perfección absoluta y su color es tan especial y único que me provoca usarlo todos los días para sentirme original. No seca los labios y dura bastante si es que no se come o bebe. Su valor es de$205AR.
I have nothing but praise for this product, for starters it’s container is absolute perfection and the color is so special and unique that makes me use it every day to feel original. It does not dry the lips and lasts enough if you do not eat or drink. Its value is $ 205AR.

Nunca me imaginé estar obsesionada con un color tan audaz pero realmente soy capaz de ir a trabajar luciendo solamente este delineador sin importar que sea un color invernal. Su costo es elevado pero vale la pena cada centavo en calidad y duración.
I never imagined being so obsessed with a color so bold but I can really go to work wearing only this lipliner no matter it`s a winter color. It’s expensive but worth every penny in quality and durability.

Estoy segura que este será el primer producto que se me va a terminar de la colección porque es lo que siempre busqué y deseé, un delineador que dure eternamente, ultra negro y de fácil aplicación. Este es todo en uno, aplaudo a Rihanna y a M.A.C por haberlo creado.
I’m sure this will be the first product that I will end of because it is what I always wanted: a liner that lasts forever, ultra black and easy to apply. This is all in one which is why I applaud Rihanna and MAC for creating it.

NAIL ART OF THE WEEK 11: Sweet Victorian "Pretty Cool"*

Sweet Victorian, reconocida marca de lencería juvenil, lanzó al mercado su propia línea de esmaltes que recibí para testear denominada «Pretty Cool». La colección está compuesta por esmaltes cuyos colores disponibles para esta temporada son: colorado, violeta, azul, verde, naranja, bordó, celeste, vía láctea y fluors a un valor de $20AR c/u y un kit de francesita que fue mi elegido para probar.
Sweet Victorian, recognized lingerie brand, launched its own line of nail polish called «Pretty Cool» that I got to test. The collection consists of nail polishes whose colors available for this season are: red, violet, blue, green, orange, burgundy, blue, milky way and fluorescents to a value of $20AR each and a Frenchie kit which is my chosen test.

Debo reconocer la practicidad de este kit, la facilidad de uso y el excelente instructivo paso a paso para las que no tenemos la habilidad de dominar el «arte de la francesita». Está compuesto por dos esmaltes: vía lactea y negro, que combinados logran un efecto explosivo y glamoroso aunque debo mencionar el comentario que me hizo mi padre: «parece que tenés las uñas sucias», igual a mí me gusta.
En cuando a calidad y duración quedé gratamente sorprendida, lo puse a prueba metiendo mis manos en los materiales más dañinos para las uñas: alcohol, detergente, lavandina, entre otras y se mantuvieron intactas, un grato descubrimiento ya que cada vez que me hice la «francesita» se me levantó a los 2 días.
I have to recognize the practicality of this kit, ease to use and excellent step by step instructions for those who do not have the ability to master the «art of the French nail.» It consists of two nail polishes: milky way and black, which combined achieve an explosive and glamorous look but I must mention the comment my father made, «it seems that you have dirty fingernails», nevermind I love it.

RIMMEL LONDON NATURAL BRONZER 028 SUNRISE

Honestamente no soy una persona a la que le gusta estar bronceada, de hecho evito el sol y trato de tener el menor color posible pero todo en la vida cambia. Empecé a aprender a amar el bronceado gracias a los tantos productos cosméticos que nos ayudan a contraer ese efecto sin tener la necesidad de estar horas con la piel expuesta al sol. Entre ellos, uno de mis favoritos es el RIMMEL LONDON NATURAL BRONZER en el tono 028 SUNRISE, un polvo con minerales, SPF 15, leve brillo  y resistencia al agua, ¿qué más se le puede pedir?. El contenido es de 14grs en un envase grande pero chato lo que no molesta su transportabilidad y en cuanto al color es bastante tenue para mi tono de piel aunque cargando con mucho producto la brocha se logra el efecto deseado. Un bronzer ideal para usar todos los días.

I started learning to love the tan thanks to the many cosmetic products that help us get the effect without having the need to spend hours in the sun. A brozer ideal for everyday use.
