ALMABOX ABRIL 2014*

Luego de 2 meses de ausencia en mi blog, volvió la reseña de la cajita de belleza ALMABOX, esta vez la edición ABRIL 2014* que es para mí la mejor del año hasta ahora. Veamos su contenido:
After 2 months of absence from my blog, the ALMABOX beauty box review is back, this time the APRIL 2014* edition which is for me the best from this year so far. Let’s see it’s content:

Me sorprendió gratamente haber recibido absolutamente todos los productos en su tamaño real y no muestras, eso es un plus más que interesante. Debo confesar que hasta el día de la fecha no probé la crema de St. Ives ni las ampollas para el cabello y todavía estoy en la etapa de testeo con los dos productos de Bioderma como para darles mi opinión definitiva pero puedo decirles que no podría estar más contenta con ellos.
I was pleasantly surprised to have received absolutely all products in their actual size, that’s a more than interesting plus. I must confess that up until this date I did not try the moisturizer from St. Ives or the hair product and am still in the testing stage with the two products from Bioderma to give my final opinion but I can tell you that I could not be happier with them.

Honestamente no tengo mucho más para decir de esta cajita que lo que dije en el video, creo que definitivamente no cumple con su propósito inicial pero los productos no son malos en sí, sino que no se encuentran en sintonía.

Llegó la ALMABOX DICIEMBRE 2013*, una cajita que informa ser de repetidos pero brinda los más pedidos del año. Veamos:

DOVE: BEAUTY CREAM WASH

Este es uno de esos productos que no me hubiese comprado por mi cuenta pero que al probarlo no puedo dejar de usar. Como lo informa su nombre es muy cremoso, hidrata y limpia la piel dejando el aroma característico de la marca.

This is one of those products that I had not bought my own to try it but I can not stop using. As he tells his name is so creamy, moisturizes and cleanses the skin leaving the characteristic aroma of the brand.

DOVE: NUTRICIÓN GO FRESH CREMA CORPORAL

Sigo sin saber qué hacer con este producto, así que por ahora está guardado en mi baño mientras decido su futuro, no es malo pero creo que hay cremas mejores aunque su aroma es su mejor característica.

I still do not know what to do with this product, so for now it is stored in my bathroom while I decide it’s future, is not bad but I think there are best ones  the scent is its best feature.

LA ROCHE-POSAY: REDERMIC [+] UV

Esta crema, según mi madre, es alucinante. Cuando llegó por primera vez supe que le iba a encantar así que se la dí y la estuvo usando desde ese momento hasta hoy en día por lo que esta misma irá para ella también.
My mother says this cream is amazing. When it first arrived I knew she was going to love it so I gave it to her and was using it since then until today so this one is for her too.

TAYLOR SWIFT: WONDERSTRUCK

Este es un perfume al cual no estoy acostumbrada pero me sorprendió que me haya gustado. Es floral, frutal pero fuerte (o al menos para mi), que al principio sorprende pero luego se va apaciguando. No es un aroma que compraría pero está bueno para probar.

This is a perfume which I’m not used to but I was surprised that I liked it. It is floral, fruity but strong (or at least for me), which at first surprised but then goes appeasing. It’s not a scent I would buy but it’s nice to try.

BOUTIQUE DU SENS: PURE & FRESH Jabón Cremoso

Honestamente, estos jabones no los utilicé como tales, los tengo en mi placard para perfumar y cumplen maravillosamente esa función.
Honestly, I never use these soaps as such, they are in my closet to scent and wonderfully fulfill this function.

ALMABOX NOVIEMBRE 2013*

Me parece increíble que noviembre ya haya terminado y me dí cuenta al momento que recibí mi cajita de ALMABOX que siempre aparece la última semana de cada mes. Veamos que trajo:

ADERMICINA A SOLAR

Esta crema/protector solar vino en la cajita de Noviembre 2012 y aunque fue hace un año, sigo teniendo el producto, al parecer no la utilicé tanto como debería haberlo hecho, por tal motivo esta nueva va a ir para sorteo más adelante.

This cream/sunscreen came in the November 2012 box and although it was a year ago, I still have the product, apparently I did not use it as much as I should have.

AVON COLOR TREND – Polvo Compacto (Café)

Este es otro producto repetido, apareció por primera vez en la edición de Abril 2013 y todavía sigo teniendo mucho del producto. Debo reconocer que lo uso bastante ya que es el tonalizador más oscuro que tengo y con el cual logro el mayor efecto bronceado, me gusta mucho pero como ya tengo uno en uso este también lo voy a estar sorteando más adelante.
This is another repeated product, it first appeared in April 2013 and I’m still having a lot of product. I must admit that I use it quite a lot as a bronzer as it is the darkest that I have and which I can achieved the greatest tanning effect.

AVON – Glasewear Shine (Iced Pink)

Extrañamente y para mi sorpresa me volví adicta a los brillos labiales así que cada vez que recibo uno me pongo muy contenta porque realmente no sé comprarlos para mí. Este es un color muy femenino que deja apenas color visible en los labios y es apto para usarlo todos los días por la delicadeza que representa.
Strangely and to my surprise I became addicted to lip glosses so every time I get one I am very happy because I can not really buy them for me. This is a very feminine color that leaves barely visible color on the lips and is suitable for everyday use by the delicacy it represents.

BIODERMA – Sensibio H2O Solution Micellare

Esta es una marca que bloggers me dieron curiosidad, nunca la había probado pero el haber leído tantas reseñas (en su mayoría positivas) me generó una necesidad de testearla. Todavía no me pude dar ese lujo pero en cuanto lo haga se van a enterar en este espacio.
This is a brand that bloggers got me curious, I’ve never tried it but have read many reviews (mostly positive) that generated a need to test it. I still could not do that but once I finally do you will hear all about it in this space.

DOVE – Puntas Reconstruidas

Realmente no noté muchos cambios con este producto, ya probé todos pero mi cabello a simple vista se ve exactamente igual, tal vez sea un efecto a largo plazo.
I really did not notice much change with this product, I tried all my hair but at first glance looks exactly the same, it may be a long-term effect.

ELIZABETH ARDEN – Red Door Aura

Lo primero que hizo mi madre cuando vió el contenido de esta cajita fue tomar la muestra del perfume porque justo la versión clásica es su preferida. Este en particular tiene una fragancia floral con suaves toques de maderos frescos, con base similar al clásico Red Door pero con toques de Flor de Naranjo y Jazmín.
The first thing my mother did when she saw the contents of this box was to take the perfume sample because she loves the classic version. This in particular has a soft floral fragrance with hints of fresh timber, similar to the classic based of Red Door with has hints of Orange Blossom and Jasmine.

RAYITO DE SOL – Bronzage (autobronceante)

Realmente no soy fanática de este tipo de productos pero mágicamente mi madre sí y cuando llega la primavera comienza a ponerse este tipos de cremas así que le vino bárbara porque además de cumplir su función posee colágeno y elastina para brindar una piel con mayor firmeza y elasticidad.
I’m not really a fan of this type of products but my mother is and when spring comes she starts to get these kinds of creams. This one in particular has collagen and elastin to provide skin more firmness and elasticity.

ICONO – MegaLip

Este producto me volvió completamente loca y adicta. Se trata de un bálsamo hidratante para labios que evita la sequedad, elimina los molestos pellejitos y además dice aportar volumen (yo hasta ahora no lo ví). Posee mentol y alcanfor que al aplicarlo brinda una sensación de frescura instantánea que sorprende. Como comenté en el video, me hizo acordar mucho al bálsamo de M.A.C. de la colección de Ricky Martin, son muy similares.

This product made me completely crazy and addicted to it. It is a moisturizing lip balm that prevents dryness and provides volume (I did not see it until now). It has menthol and camphor which when applied provides an instant cooling sensation that surprises. As I mentioned in the video, it reminded me a lot to the balm from MAC by Ricky Martin, they are very similar.

ST YVES – Apricot Scrub

Desde que tengo uso de razón siempre fui adicta a todos los productos exfoliantes por lo que recibir uno me puso muy contenta, lamentablemente a mi madre también le gustó así que vamos a tener que compartirlo. Este en particular posee una textura arenada que no daña la piel pero deja una sensación de limpieza que sorprende además de un rico aroma.

Since I can remember I have always been addicted to all exfoliating products so I was very happy when I recieved this one, unfortunately my mother also so we will have to share.

Realmente a mí en particular no me deslumbró el contenido, fueron productos buenos con gusto a poco, pero a mi madre realmente le fascinó (y eso que ella es mucho más exigente que yo) así que si el target era «madres» lograron su objetivo porque a la mía le encantó.

I was not particularly dazzled with the content of this box even though they were good products, but my mother was really fascinated (and she is much more demanding than me) so if the target was «mothers» it achieved it’s goal because she loved it.

No tuve el momento perfecto para poder utilizar este producto pero soy feliz al haberlo recibido, me parece glamoroso, útil y perfecto para mimarnos este mes.

ABIGAIL – Esmalte

Mi primera impresión de este producto no fue buena pero no hay que juzgar a un libro por su portada y luego de probarlo quedé encantada. Es ultra plateado, de buena duración (7 días) y bien glamoroso.
My first impression of this product was not good but we should not judge a book by its cover and was delighted after testing. It is ultra silver, good duration (7 days) and glamorous.

DOVE – CREMA DE TRATAMIENTO PUNTAS RECONSTITUIDAS

Este fue el único producto de la cajita que me no me gustó haber recibido porque ya tengo muchos (de cajitas anteriores) que no se terminaron.
This was the only product in the box that I have received I did not like because I have a lot (of previous boxes) which were not finished.

KEVINGSTON – Body Splash

Si pensaba que esta marca no podía sacar otro aroma que me guste más que el que tenía en uso, no podría estar más equivocada. Es la perfección dentro de un frasco y desde que llegó es mi aroma.
If I thought this brand could not get another scent that I like better than the one I’m using now, I could not be more wrong. It is perfection in a bottle and since it arrived I have in use.

FISIOGEL – Crema líquida

Como les conté en el video tengo una historia muy particular con este producto por lo que haberlo recibido en una cajita de belleza me llenó de felicidad.
As I told you in the video I have a very particular history with this product so you have received it in a box of beauty filled me with happiness.

Esta cajita logró recuperar mi amor y puedo decirles que estoy un 90% feliz con su contenido. Quiero aprovechar para contarles que AlmaBox me convocó para hacer unos videos/reseña para su canal de YouTube a lo que accedí sin dudarlo y me gustaría hacer el pequeño disclaimer que no recibo dinero por este trabajo, lo hago por placer y diversión. This box was able to recover my love and I can say that I am 90% happy with its contents. ALMABOX JULIO 2013*

Como todos los meses comparto con ustedes el contenido de la cajita de belleza ALMABOX, esta vez la correspondiente al mes de JULIO. En esta oportunidad mi descontento es tal que me quitó las ganas de escribir y dejo todo plasmado en el video, por lo que aconsejo verlo primero y luego poner atención a las imágenes a continuación.

Ya es una necesidad conocer sus opiniones al respecto. Realmente a mí me pareció un horror y no entiendo como la empresa fue capaz de sacar al mercado una caja con un contenido tan deplorable y en mal estado lo que me hace pensar que no debe existir ningún estudio previo de los productos sino «un pongo esto, esto y esto y que se arreglen». Como dato interesante en esta oportunidad no me vino ninguna tarjeta explicativa de los productos que contenía.

UPDATE: Luego de varios días de tratar de aclimatar el aceite de Natura, no logré que vuelva a su estado natural o deseado pero decidí no tirarlo y se lo llevó (por voluntad propia) la señora que ayuda a mi madre con las tareas del hogar. Con respecto al esmalte se lo regalé a la hija de 10 años de una compañera del trabajo para que lo use para jugar, el shampoo Clear me lo sacó mi padre (aunque diga que es para mujer) y la crema de L’Oreal la empezó a usar mi madre (aunque me haya dicho que era un producto malo), así que en resúmen, no me quedé con nada del contenido pero espero que quienes estén usándolos puedan sacarle provecho. Además aclaro que esta cajita me la mandó Almabox gratuitamente. 
UPDATE UPDATE: La señora a la que le regalé el aceite de Natura logró recuperarlo colocandolo a baño maría y fuego moderado a leve dónde las partículas congeladas lograron volver a su estado natural y ya ahora disfruta de su aceite y me lo agradece. Así que colorín colorado todo terminó bien al final de todo 🙂

Como todos los meses tengo el placer de mostrarles el contenido de la cajita ALMABOX, esta vez es una edición muy especial porque es su aniversario, es así, ya llevan 1 año en el mercado argentino. Veamos lo que trajo:

No pueden imaginarse la cara de felicidad que tuvimos con mi madre cuando vimos estos dos productos, principalmente porque somos ambas farmacéuticas y conocemos las propiedades milagrosas de toda la línea de La Roche Posay y además conocemos de su extremadamente alto valor (son importadas). Como conté en el video la grande para rostro se la quedó mi madre y la está usando diariamente por debajo del maquillaje mientras que yo me quedé con la de contorno de ojos que déjenme decirles es la mejor que probé hasta ahora, de una nutrición inigualable y una sensación de eliminación de arruguitas realmente palpable.
You can not imagine the face of happiness my mother and me had when we saw these two products, mainly because we are both pharmacists and know the miraculous properties of the entire line of La Roche Posay and also know its extremely high price (they are imported). As told in the video my mother took the one for the face and stared using it daily under makeup while I stayed with the eye contour one and let me tell you is the best I tried so far, unique nutrition and a sense of actual elimination of wrinkles.

Este jabón ya lo habíamos recibido en una cajita anterior pero me gustó volvérmelo a encontrar ya que el anterior hizo de aromatizante para mi placard y este seguramente cumplirá la misma función.
This soap had already received in a previous box but I liked to get it again as the previous ended up flavoring my wardrobe and this will surely fulfill the same function.

Este set comprende cuatro jabones con mismo aroma y de tamaño ideal para lavarse las manos. Son estéticamente muy bonitos y dejan las manos con un perfume exquisito.
This set includes four soaps with same flavor and ideal size for hand washing. They are aesthetically beautiful and leave hands with exquisite perfume.

ELIZABETH ARDEN – GREEN TEA, CHERRY BLOSSOM

Lamento informar que ya me acabé toda la muestra de este perfume porque me fascinó, su aroma es una mezcla perfecta que despierta todos mis sentidos y perfuma mi piel a la perfección.
I regret to report that I finished the entire sample of this perfume because it fascinated me, the aroma is a perfect blend that awakens all my senses and perfumed my skin to perfection.

Considerando todo fue una buena cajita pero no sé si la más acertada para ser una edición aniversario. Claramente sumó puntos con las dos cremas de La Roche Posay pero me decepcionó no haber recibido algún producto de maquillaje, aunque sea un esmalte.
All in all it was a good box but I’m not sure it was the right one to be an anniversary edition. Clearly scored points with both La Roche Posay creams but I was disappointed not to have received any makeup product, not even a nail polish.
