Look of the day 27: "Paseo Costero"

Hacía tiempo que no visitaba mi ciudad preferida así que aproveché el feriado largo para hacerme una escapadita junto con mi familia. Mar del Plata se ha convertido en mi segundo hogar y ya hace un tiempo tengo en mente la idea de mudarme por esos pagos. Nada más lindo que amanecer junto al mar, sentir el ruido de la olas romper en la costa y la frescura de su gente. Tengo que reconocer que hacía frío pero no lo sentí, estaba tan feliz que nada podía oscurecer mi día, ni siquiera las nubes que intentaban tapar al sol.
De vuelta en el asfalto de Buenos Aires recuerdo con nostalgia y planeo mi próximo viaje.

I had not visited my favorite city since summer so I took the long weekend for a getaway with my family. Mar del Plata has become my second home and for some time I have in mind the idea of ​​moving. Nothing more beautiful than sunrise by the sea, the noise of the waves breaking on the shore and the freshness of its people. I have to admit that it was cold but I was so happy that nothing could darken my day, even the clouds trying to cover the sun. 
Back in Buenos Aires asphalt I remember with nostalgia and plan my next trip.

Look of the day 26: "Blue"

Hay días en que me paro a mirar el contenido de mi placard/guardarropas y armo looks compuestos por un sólo color. Generalmente ese color suele ser negro pero esta vez opté por el azul para darle un poco de vida a este día lluvioso y nublado. La camisa se convirtió en mi prenda preferida de esta temporada, tanto que tengo la misma en color mostaza, sí me compré dos iguales de diferente color, suelo hacer esas cosas cuando me gusta mucho algo y está a un precio razonable.

There are days when I stop to look at the contents of my closet/wardrobe and create outfits composed of a single color. The color is usually black but this time I opted for the blue to give a little bit of life to this rainy and cloudy day. The shirt became my favorite piece of this season, and I have the same in mustard, yes I bought two identical ones in different colors, I usually do those things when I like something and are at a reasonable price.

Look of the day 23: "Winter is here"

Llegó el invierno señoras y señores, para algunos la mejor estación del año, para otros no tanto. En mi caso tengo sensaciones encontradas, por momentos disfruto estar bien abrigada con capas y capas de ropa pero por otros quiero poder moverme con tranquilidad sin tener que sentir que tengo dos kilos de prendas encima. Cualquiera sea el sentimiento con mi amiga Jime quisimos celebrarlo así que nos juntamos a almorzar y charlar un rato.
Entre plato y plato, tuve la agradable visita de Matías que traía consigo mi pieza de Naye Quiros de la colección «Tesla«. Por si no conocen la marca les cuento que se dedica al diseño de joyería de vanguardia, teniendo puntos de venta en todas partes del mundo por lo que es un honor para mí ser portadora de una pieza tan icónica.
Para terminar el encuentro tomamos un café y salimos de compras por locales de la zona. Terminamos ambas con bufandas nuevas, una prenda imprescindible para combatir el frío del invierno.
Winter came, ladies and gentlemen to my side of the globe. For some it’s the best season, for others not so. In my case I have mixed feelings, at times I enjoy being well wrapped with layers and layers of clothing but others want to move with ease without having to feel that I have two kilos of clothes on top. Whatever the feeling with my friend Jime decided to celebrate this time of the year, so we got together for lunch and a chat. 
Between courses, I had the nice visit of Matias who brought my piece by Naye Quiros from the «Tesla» Collection. This brand is dedicated to cutting edge jewelry design, with sellers all over the world and it is an honor for me to be the bearer of a piece so iconic.
By the end of our gathering, we had coffee and went shopping to the near stores. We ended up with two new scarfs, a garment necessary to combat the cold of winter.

Look of the day 20: "The Young Gods"

Cada semana posteo al menos un «Look of the day» porque el mostrar todos requiere mucho tiempo (que no dispongo) y que alguien me asista con las fotos (que no tengo quién) así que para esta semana decidí mostrarles el outfit que más miradas atrapó. El pantalón ya lo conocen por un post previo pero parece ser que a la gente le llama la atención más de lo que me imaginaba a tal punto que, lado al que iba lado en que todos se daban vuelta para mirarme, sean hombres, mujeres, de todas las edades. Me sentí inhibida al principio pero con el correr de las horas lo tomé como una halago, en especial viniendo de adolescentes que se quedaban mirando el pantalón anonadadas.

Each week I post at least one «Look of the day» because to show all is very time-consuming (which I don’t have) and need someone to help me with the photos (which I have no one) so this week I decided to show the outfit that caught more stares. The pants you already know from a previous post but it seems that people are not used to see them than I imagined so they stared to such an extent that wherever I was they all were turning to look at me, men, women, of all ages. I felt inhibited at first but with the passing of the hours I took it as a compliment, especially coming from teenagers who stared awestruck at the pants.
