M.A.C. FACE & BODY FOUNDATION

Cuando se le pregunta a expertos sobre el mejor producto de M.A.C. Cosmetics, la gran mayoría concuerda que es la base de maquillaje «Face & Body» y déjenme decirles que están en lo cierto. Se trata de una base líquida fluida levemente oleosa, por lo que es ideal para pieles mixtas y presenta una cobertura ligera con la posibilidad de ir trabajando el producto para lograr un mayor cubrimiento. De envase práctico permite ser aplicada con pinceles, esponjas de maquillaje y hasta las propias manos, es ideal para usar a diario pero requiere de sellar con polvo para aumentar su durabilidad. En cuanto a la terminación deja la piel luciendo sedosa, lisa y perfecta, además de fotografiar muy bien sin dejar rastros en la fotografía con flash. Sin lugar a dudas es un «must-have» y una de mis bases favoritas.
When asked experts about the best product from MAC Cosmetics, most agree that it is the foundation «Face & Body» and let me tell you they are right. This is a slightly oily liquid foundation, ideal for combination or dry skin and has a light to medium coverage with the ability to work the product to achieve it. Also has a practical packaging and can be applied with brushes, makeup sponges and even bare hands making it ideal for everyday use but requires powder to increase durability. As for the finish, it leaves the skin looking silky smooth and perfect with the addition that photographs beautifully even in flash photography. Undoubtedly it is a «must-have» and one of my favorite foundations.

M.A.C. GO FOR IT LIPSTICK

Todas las fanáticas de los maquillajes saben que M.A.C Cosmetics es la tienda a ir cuando se busca la excelencia en colores. Como parte de su colección «In The Groove», «Go For It» tomó el protagonismo como un púrpura azulado que toda mujer debería al menos probar alguna vez. Ligeramente perlado es un tono que se lleva todas las miradas y es apto para todas las estaciones. Un punto negativo a tener en cuenta es que no forma parte de la colección permanente de la marca por lo que encontrar uno es como encontrar una aguja en un pajar, pero a no temer, puede estar más cerca de lo que pensaban. All makeup fans know that the go-to store for great colors is MAC Cosmetics. As part of their»In The Groove» collection, «Go For It» took the stage as a bluish purple that every woman should at least once try. Is a slightly pearly tone suitable for all seasons but one negative point to note is that it’s not part of the permanent collection of the brand so finding one is like finding a needle in a haystack, but not to fear, it can be closer than they thought. MAC PREP + PRIME TRANSPARENT FINISHING POWDER/PRESSED

Antes de irme de viaje a Europa decidí optimizar mis maquillajes y en esa búsqueda me encontré con una excelente alternativa para mi polvo volátil en versión compacta ideal para transportar. M.A.C tiene una línea denominada «Prep + Prime» para optimizar el uso de los maquillajes y uno de ellos es este polvo para terminar el maquillaje. Aunque es ideal para pieles oleosas, creo que toda mujer debería tener uno para eliminar ese brillo no deseado que puede aparecer en el rostro. Es de terminación liviana y a pesar de ser blanco no produce ese efecto «fantasma» con el flash de las fotografías. Como punto negativo puede llegar a ser su precio, un tanto elevado y no apto para todos los presupuestos. Definitivamente encontré en este producto un gran aliado para llevar a todos lados y lucir un maquillaje perfecto.
Before traveling to Europe I decided to streamline my makeup and in that search I found a great alternative for my volatile powder, a compact version ideal for carrying everywhere. MAC has a line called «Prep + Prime» to optimize the use of make-up and one of them is this powder to finish the makeup. Although it is ideal for oily skin, I think every woman should have one to remove unwanted shine that may appear on the face. It has a lightweight termination and despite being white does not produce the «ghost» effect with flash photography. On the downside it can be a bit pricey and not suitable for all budgets. Definitely found in this product a great ally to carry around and show off a perfect makeup.

Finalmente llegó ese gran momento del año donde MUD – Make Up Design abre las puertas de su estudio para que profesionales y amantes de los maquillajes puedan comprar productos a precios más que económicos. La cita de esta segunda edición fue la segunda semana de diciembre que durante dos días ofrecían productos de: M.A.C., Mila Marzi, Victoria’s Secret, Urban Velvet, Leo Papparela, Tigi y muchas marcas más.
Finally came the great time of year where MUD – Make Up Design opens the doors of the studio for professionals and enthusiasts to buy makeup products at more affordable prices. This second edition was the second week of December where for two days offered products from: MAC, Mila Marzi, Victoria’s Secret, Urban Velvet, Leo Papparela, Tigi and many more brands.

RIRI HEARTS MAC: HAUL, SWATCHES AND FIRST IMPRESSION

Finalmente tuvimos el placer de tener en el mercado argentino la colección especial de Rihanna para M.A.C. de la cual muchas estamos completamente obsesionadas. Apenas me enteré fui corriendo al local de Galerías Pacífico (Capital Federal) para ver personalmente estas obras de arte y como era de esperarse traje cositas a mi hogar.
Pero primero veamos lo que compone esta colección:

• 2 set de pestañas postizas, 
• 4 tonos de labiales de diversa terminación, 
• 1 duo tonalizador/rubor, 
• 2 lápiz para cejas, 
• 1 delineador líquido,
• 1 máscara de pestañas,
• 2 delineadores de labios,
• 2 rubores,
• 1 iluminador en crema,
• 1 brocha de fibra óptica
• 1 pincel tipo lengua de gato de fibra óptica
• 1 labial líquido rojo,
• 2 cuartetos de sombras

Finally we had the pleasure of having in the Argentine market Rihanna’s special collection for MAC of which many are completely obsessed. I ran to the Galerias Pacifico (Buenos Aires) store to see these works of art personally and as expected brought some home.
But first let’s check out the collection:

• 2 false eyelashes,
• 4 shades of lipsticks of different termination
• 1 duo bronzer/blush,
• 2 eyebrow pencil,
• 1 liquid eyeliner
• 1 mascara,
• 2 lip liners,
• 2 blushes
• 1 creamy highlighter 
• 1 optical fiber brush
• 1 brush filbert type optical fiber
• 1 red liquid lipstick,
• 2 quartets of shadows

Este rubor se fusiona perfecto con mi colección ya que no tenía ningún color similar, siempre fui una chica de rubores rosados así que esta vez me animé al cambio y a probar algo nuevo. Es de fácil aplicación tanto con brocha de rubor como de fibra óptica y deja un tono satinado y saludable a la piel. Su valor es de $270AR, caro pero espero sea rendidor.
This blush fits perfect in my collection as I did not have any similar color, I was always a girl of pink blushes so it’s time to change and try something new and different. It is easy to apply both with a blush brush or an optical fiber one and leaves a glossy and healthy tone to the skin. Its value is $270AR, expensive but hopefully it yielder.

No tengo más que elogios para este producto, por empezar su envase es la perfección absoluta y su color es tan especial y único que me provoca usarlo todos los días para sentirme original. No seca los labios y dura bastante si es que no se come o bebe. Su valor es de$205AR.
I have nothing but praise for this product, for starters it’s container is absolute perfection and the color is so special and unique that makes me use it every day to feel original. It does not dry the lips and lasts enough if you do not eat or drink. Its value is $ 205AR.

Nunca me imaginé estar obsesionada con un color tan audaz pero realmente soy capaz de ir a trabajar luciendo solamente este delineador sin importar que sea un color invernal. Su costo es elevado pero vale la pena cada centavo en calidad y duración.
I never imagined being so obsessed with a color so bold but I can really go to work wearing only this lipliner no matter it`s a winter color. It’s expensive but worth every penny in quality and durability.

Estoy segura que este será el primer producto que se me va a terminar de la colección porque es lo que siempre busqué y deseé, un delineador que dure eternamente, ultra negro y de fácil aplicación. Este es todo en uno, aplaudo a Rihanna y a M.A.C por haberlo creado.
I’m sure this will be the first product that I will end of because it is what I always wanted: a liner that lasts forever, ultra black and easy to apply. This is all in one which is why I applaud Rihanna and MAC for creating it.

Color intermedio entre durazno y rosado (más tirando a este último), levemente traslúcido y con excelente hidratación. Es el color perfecto para usar todos los días y desde que lo adquirí no ha dejado mis labios.
Intermediate color between peach and pink (more of the last one), slightly translucent, with excellent hydration. It is the perfect color to wear every day and since I bought has not left my lips.

VANILLA PIGMENT

Siempre me llamaron la atención los pigmentos de M.A.C. por la versatilidad de sus usos pero nunca me había comprado uno hasta ahora. El tono elegido fue Vanilla, un clásico iluminador que me tiene enamorada desde la primera vez que me lo puse en el rostro. Apto para crear looks clásicos, edgy y hasta donde la imaginación llegue.

I’ve always been interested in MAC pigments by the versatility of its uses but I never bought one before. The tone I chosen was Vanilla, a classic illuminator that captivated me the first time I wore it on my face. Suitable for creating classic looks, edgy and where the imagination takes you.
