Apenas llegamos nos encontramos con un mar de gente, mejor dicho, un mar de mujeres. Lo reconfortante fue ver caras conocidas con las que nos quedamos charlando un rato hasta que se abra la sala.Cuando Adri me mandó un mensaje contándome del evento del Día Internacional de la Mujer que estaba organizando la revista Cosmopolitan no sabía con qué me iba a encontrar. En primer lugar porque no compro la revista y en segundo porque las hosts del evento iban a ser dos bloggeras: Andy Torres de Stylescrapbook y Lorena Pérez de Blocdemoda.
La charla comenzó con Andy Torres contándonos un poco de sus comienzos, de cómo llegó a crear su blog y cómo llegó a ser un suceso mundial sin que ella se diera cuenta. Se mostró super serena, simpática y accesible por eso apenas terminó la charla todas las rodearon para sacarle fotos (yo fuí una de ellas, lo admito). Luego continuó Lorena contándonos un poco de su historia que nos atrapó por igual.
Para finalizar se abrió una rueda de preguntas y respuestas en donde se pudo hablar de todo y brindaron muchos consejos que quedarán en la memoria de todas las presentes, entre ellos que es necesario que los bloggers se unan por un fin común.
When Adri sent me a message telling the International Woman’s Day event being organized by Cosmopolitan magazine I did not know what I would find. First because I do not buy the magazine and secondly because the hosts of the event were to be two bloggers: Andy Towers from Stylescrapbook and Lorena Perez from Blocdemoda.
Just arrived we found a sea of people, in fact it was a sea of women. It was comforting to see familiar faces with which we were chatting for a while until the room was opened.
The talk began with Andy Torres telling a bit about his beginnings, how she came to create her blog and how she became a worldwide success without her noticing. She was super calm, friendly and accessible that when the conversation endend all gathered around to take pictures (I was one of them, I admit). Lorena then went on telling a bit about her story that caught us equally.
Finally question and answer where opened where we could talk about anything and gave many tips that will remain in the memory of all present, including the need for bloggers to unite for a common end.
